Get to stepping!
Today is a new day, in a new year it feel just like a new opportunity. The calender date is 1/11/11! Does it mean anything? Not really.. but what happened to me today will make all the difference in my recovery.
Just 11 days ago, I talked to God about all the things that needed to be different for me this year. Most of these things should have been changed last year but.....
Anyhow, after much prayer God challenged me to leave the past behind, wipe off the dust and GET TO STEPPING!
So off I went. I blogged, prayed ,cut ties, mended fences, changed my diet and had a new attitude. Yeah, I was off to a great start.
This morning however I did exactly what God told me not to do.... looked back!!!!! It is amazing how one small look back can be a major setback. Before I could say peace be still, my peace had already gone. I felt aches, pain, stomach discomfort and all of that. The breathing technique didn't even work. How can I overcome this and get back in balance?
No response......
Finally at 7 PM almost 10 hours after I got into this mess, God spoke and reminded me of some things I forgot.....
I will share:
1. Stay FOCUSED. Most things that we see/hear are really just perceptions. God has the final say.
2. Remain FILLED. When your cup is empty anything can be poured into it.
3. Stay FREE. Once you have been freed from strongholds, keep on shaking..refuse to me re hooked.
4. Get FABULOUS. Remember we are fearfully and wonderfully made.
No one said getting better would be easy, but one thing's for sure.....
You have to be in it to win.. I will defeat cancer and the drama that comes with it. I will declare victory in ALL areas of my life.
So to all my sisters who are fighting for your life, sanity or anything else.. I repeat
GET UP SISTA GIRL.. GET TO STEPPING
